NEW FED CHIEF SETTLES IN...

Is Bernanke bonds streets billion dollar bouncer? Has his presence helped to stimulate the market? It seems that Bernanke prints a clearer economic picture than Greenspan-or at least that is what is being hope for ... To date, inflation is still the Fed`s prime target and Bernanke is prepared to ("hammer economic growth and the bull market into submission.") If that is what it takes to make inflation recede. In the moment, we see a lot of volatility. Bond markets have been bouncing in all directions. America`s S&P 500 is still 6% off it`s May high. The Australian market is more than 8% below it`s May high. The all ordinaries is about 3% from where it started the June quarter. In a nutshell there is a new man at the helm ... The waters are rough. The same applied when Greenspan took the reins ... The road was rough. (Hitory repeats itself yet again.) Bernanke will establish his inflation fighting credentials; in much the same way as the Mongol of the Pit establish his approach to trading with success!

Microsoft , eBay & Google combo.

Well Mongolians, Google obviously is making some folks go GAGA... Google has grown into a financial juggernaut-its revenues reaching the 6.1 billion mark. Google sends about 1% of it`s traffic to eBay; and about 2.7% of Googles traffic originates on eBay. Both companies are providing something valuable to each other. Google is an important pipeline - the best - that offers new products, that are not only attractive to consumers but to advertisers as well.

It appears that Google is adored by online shoppers and internet surfers alike... and it appears that Microsoft desires - perhaps salivates, to make it a threesome in that respect. We will have to wait and watch and see what develops... In the mean time, the news from the Pit is clear and concise... There is room for more than one company in the expanding internet market...

FTC: Some Gas Price Gouging After Katrina.
The week after hurricane Katrina gasoline prices jumped to as high as $3.07 per gallon. The federal trade commission stated that there was “no illegal market manipulation." Rather, it was the pipeline outages and panic buying that created the higher than normal pricing.
At present, unleaded, regular, gasoline averages $2.89/gallon nationwide.
Oil companies are reaping enormous profits - check the pit on who and how much...

Of course, it only makes sense that refiners whose plants were shut down by the storms were forced to buy gasoline on the open market and then resell it....at super high prices - Dare we say that gouging is most acceptable if addressed correctly!? (only in America )

Microsoft Quarterly Profit, Revenue Up.
Although Microsoft sales fell short of expectations - they are still a top contender in the market place.

It is important to remember that Microsoft is in a transition period - there will be a definite growth spurt as demand for software - targeting corporate users and home entertainment, begins the upward climb.

2007 will release windows vista. X-box video ghame player is in a “surge‿ mode.
Microsofts emerging businesses, such as online advertising, mobile and gaming are additional boon. Over the long term, Microsoft will have a large impact on the market.
S-o-o-o fellow Mongolians, do not Dilly Dally. Surge forward. Go with the flow.

Indexes Reached All-Times Highs.
U.S. major market indexes reached all-times highs. Stock Market Indexes are on the upward swing. Analysts are optimistic that the gains will continue to climb. There is strong growth and a lack of inflation - “it`s a bull market guys"; we are told, with predictions that the major indexes could add another 5% by the end of 2006! For example: telecommunication companies - a part of the S&P500, have risen approximately 14% since January-1-06.

On the other hand, even though the markets look promising, investors are still skittish.
Friction in the Middle East could cause further energy price increases, U.S. tax charges could cause major inflation woes... Real estate as well could be a catalyst...
What to do? What not to do?... The ultimate questions...
Is it all aboard..WIN/WIN or all overboard... LOSE/LOSE.

Sun Block? Sun Screen? No such animal!
There is no such thing as 100%, and consumer’s need to do their homework before taking things for granted. Read the labels... and than some... Sun block does not mean that a product blocks out all light from the sun. Sunscreen do a relatively effective job of blocking out UVB rays but... overexposure to sun can still contribute to creation of wrinkles, premature aging and the development of skin cancer, bottom line - don those hats and long sleeve shirts when out in the direct sunlight! And yes sun worshippers... get out those nasty umbrellas!!

Temperatures increased.
Temperatures are increasing rapidly in the Antarctic Peninsula, during the last 30 years. Elsewhere on the continent there have been no pronounced temperature changes.

Greenhouse gases; the effects of global warming, have made a considerable difference. This warming trend can play havoc with snowfall and the rise in sea level. Do we build a Noah`s Arc? Do we march the animals in two by two??

Mongolian Post
It must have seemed like a cool idea when a certain Wall Street trader allegedly decided to pop in at a recent fiesta hosted by a Madrid-based client and featuring authentic flamenco music and dancing.

And it might have been a neat cross-cultural gesture, had the trader not supposedly brought along 18 rowdy buddies in the midst of a whirlwind bachelor party weekend.

It`s rumored that, when the over served crew crashed the scene - the quaint backroom of a Madrid restaurant, entire families of all ages enjoying Old World traditions - the stunned Spaniard host was more than a little teed off at the trader.

Eventually, the unruly uninvited got the drift and reportedly filtered to the front bar, where they proceeded to consume its contents ad nauseam.

How much do you need to live on after retirement? Do the math. In a recent poll, 40% of the Americans interviewed said they had no savings at all.

And these Americans are not unusual; only one in four workers over 55 years old has invested assets of more than $100,000.

This isn`t to say we`re sitting on our hands - instead of saving and investing, we borrow.

Above all your ability to change your behavior is the most important part of successful trading. The correct knowledge without behavior modification projects improper execution of an otherwise perfect trading plan.

Golden Horde
As traders our challenge is to stay in the game as long as possible; for a Mongolian trader this is not good enough we need to conquer.

Only the Golden Horde retained a steppe based and steppe culture; consequently lasting more than three centuries; the Golden Horde was the most durable of the Mongol regimes.

Can you see yourself always winning? This is the DREAM, can you see yourself receiving wire transfers from your broker because now you can get the reward you deserve.

Let me set the pace on how i made my trading decisions when i first started; I read many books and took all the courses i could ; i am not going to admit how much money i spent to learned confusion about how to trade.
I lost a lot of money. One book help me, Trading in the Zone by Marc Douglas. Than I came to the realization that i had to work on myself and change my behavior. Well that`s a biggy. To what? To change? Why? I am perfect! Well after having my butt kicked one time too many I got serious about the psychology of trading. And this is not good just for trading, I learned how to control GREED and FEAR.

The books that help me the most were Market Wizards by Jack Schwager .The traders in those books got their butts kicked many times before they got everything together. Than they learned discipline and behavior modification.
